On this page I have posted one my chess games in which I played the Black side of the Pirc Defense. The game includes analysis and diagrams.

Here is where I varied from my game against Ingram. I played more solidly in this game.

7. O-O Na6 8. c3 Nc7 9. Qb3 b5

Here I am preparing for a Queenside attack. I still have the option of attacking in the Center too. White will attack on the Kingside.

10. Ne4 Be6 11. Qc2 Nxe4 12. Bxe4

Here my Bishops are poised to support a Queenside attack. Instead, I decided to trade off in the Center.

Bd5 13. Bxd5 Nxd5 14. e4 Nf6 15. e5 Nd5

Here, White is attacking in the Center before I get the chance to. Black has a slight lead in development.

16. Re1 dxe5 17. Nxe5 Qc7 18. f5 c5

Now I get my Queenside attack going while White attacks in the Center.

19. Re4 gxf5

This weakens my King's position, but I got away with it because White's pieces aren't well developed yet.

20. Rh4 e6 21. Qf2 cxd4 22. Bf4 Nxf4 23. Rxf4 Bxe5 24. Qg3+ Kh8

Here I'm up a Bishop and 2 Pawns.  White has trouble breaking the pin on the Rook so I win even more material.

25. Raf1 Bxf4 26. Rxf4 dxc3 27. bxc3 Rac8 28. Rf3 Qxg3 29. Rxg3 Rc4 30. Rd3 Rfc8

Here I'm up a Rook and 2 Pawns. I'm doubling my Rooks on the half open c file threatening to win yet another Pawn. I'm not sure why my opponent made me play this one out.

31. h4 Rxc3 32. Rd7 (Trying to win a Pawn) R8c7 (Protecting the Pawns and offering the exchange when I'm up material.) 33. Rd2 (He is smart to decline the exchange, but is still lost.) Rc2 34. Rd4 Rxa2 35. h5 Kg7 36. Rg4+?? fxg4 0-1
