Welcome to my Queens Pawn Openings games page!

On this page I display links to my chess games in which I played either side of the Queens Gambit Accepted and Queens Gambit Declined. This will also include unusual Queens pawn openings that don't clearly fit into either category. The games include analysis and diagrams. Links to each game are below and are in order by opponent played.

The Queens Gambit starts of with 1. d4 d5 2. c4. White offers the c pawn but it is not really a sacrifice because Black cannot hold onto the pawn forever. Black can accept the c pawn by playing 2... dxc4 or decline the offer by playing either 2... e6, 2... c6 or 2... Nf6. I normally play 2... e6.
