On this page I have posted one my chess games in which I played the White side of the Réti Opening. The game includes analysis and diagrams.

Glen Liked to play the Nimzo-Indian Defense and I liked to play the Réti and English and often transposed from one to the other. This position was typical of our games.

Now White has the double fianchetto and is threatening to open the Center with d4 and e4. I think that Black's position is rather passive.

White was planning to open up the Center with e4 so Black stops it with this move. White has the lead in development here and so is better.

White has won a Pawn and has more active pieces than Black.

White has a Rook on the open c file and can win the Bishop for 2 Pawns. Black makes this sacrifice to open up White's Kingside and expose White's King. I decided to accept the sacrifice.

Now I'm up 2 Bishops so Black's sacrifice was unsound. He decided to play it out anyway.

Forcing the exchange of Rooks when I'm up material. Black decides to drop more material instead!

Now I'm up 2 Bishops and a Pawn. Glen makes me play it out anyway for some reason. I goofed up my notation on my score pad and thus do not have the exact win posted below.
